Paper Punches

Paper punches are the perfect little tool for many craft projects.

Paper punches are a fantastic. They are not just little holes anymore. You can get Paper punches in so many different styles you would be hard pressed to imagine one that you will not find. The shapes are only limited to your imagination and many you can get in several sizes of the same shape so you can create dimension that you would have had to hand cut in the past.
 
Paper punches come in a many different styles, the original hand grip, which comes with a gauge so you can control how deep into your material you cut so your projects will be evenly spaced. There are also smaller paper punches that can be operated with your thumb or the heel of your hand. Many of these have a terrific corner design to embellish special your special pages with flair.

Several different companies make larger shaped paper punches and even make longer reach styles that can go in up to 3 & ½ inches into your pages. Between all the great shapes, numbers and alphabet letters are also available. Many can be purchased as sets. Many of the newer small paper punches are so easy to use, no squeezing just the press of a button. They also keep a sharp edge time after time.

These small button style paper punches are great for children’s craft projects because the blades are encased in the punch and cannot be touched by accident. Also the material slides into the cutting area so there is no chance to pinch small fingers. There are also great borders, holiday styles and pretty much any shape you can think of, with new stuff showing up every day.

On occasion you will see some larger companies advertise customized paper punches, but these are usually aimed towards businesses and can be costly. The average hole punch is fairly inexpensive and will last you along time. Another nice thing is that these tools are small and will store quite nicely in your crafting bin, tote or drawer. And because of the way they are designed you don’t have to worry about cutting yourself if you are rummaging through your drawer.

All in all paper punches are a fantastic little tool that          
can add personality and creativity to any project be it
